It is time for school and most of us have new teachers. There are three different types of teachers: the fun one, the OK one, and the strict one.
The Fun Teacher
Fun teachers are well… fun. But sometimes they’re not the best for learning things. They do try hard to teach you but if they think about having a good time too often they forget to teach you the material you need for your exams. If you have a fun teacher be glad but be aware, and if they forget to do the teaching, remind them.
The OK Teacher
Teachers that are OK mean that they are both fun and strict. They focus on each and do their best to teach you well so that you may do well in your exams. It is always nice to have this sort of teacher
The Strict Teacher
Hmm.. no-one really enjoys having this kind of teacher, but the difference they can make with your knowledge at the beginning to the end of the year is huge! Strict teachers are amazing at helping you get better at your subject, whether you like it or not. Sure they can be a bit scary sometimes and gives you lots of homework, but they’re not getting anything out of it, it’s all for your own good.
These are the three different types of teachers, which one is YOURS?
There are also people that are in the school pretending to be teachers – and getting a salary for this- but they can’t care less about teaching. They just spend time in school to get the salary, but they are just thieves: they are stealing the money, stealing the time you could use to learn something, and stealing the position that should go to a real teacher. Teachers’ salary should be linked to their production: successful students, and there should be a feedback from the students. There are not official ways of doing this in some countries, but you can always do it in blogs- like this. So…go ahead: score your teacher! On a scale of 0-10, where 0 is poor and 10 is fantastic.
Very well said, this is all true. I advise everyone to rate their teacher (if they have one. If not then rate a teacher you had).
