If there is one thing I don’t understand in today’s modern-day society: it’s hashtags. Why do people use these? To me, they’re just like polite swear words, here’s why.

1.People use them to seem cool and they fail at it.
2.Many people are using them pointlessly.
3.When you use a hashtag you have to stick all of your words together and not use a space bar, so you’re just worsening your grammar (something everyone seems to be doing as well).

Here’s my question: what do you get from using hashtags? I mean, it’s not cool and you’re getting dumber by the character (if you didn’t know what I mean by ‘character in this case it means ‘a word, number, punctuation mark, or space written/typed somewhere).

Now let’s start with word crimes. I mean this in every polite way possible but EVERYONE IS FORGETTING ABOUT CORRECT GRAMMAR AND IT’S ALL SOCIAL MEDIA’S FAULT! Why do you ask? Well, on Twitter and Instagram there is only a limited amount of characters you can use, and in this case people start shortening their words and are using numbers and/or letters to represent a word. Examples:’Wt R U doing 2day?’ ‘Im @ schol’ ‘Gtg’ ‘I luv U’.
Can someone please explain to me why everyone is forgetting how to write properly? It doesn’t take that much of an effort to finish writing one word you know, and in my case it takes more effort to spell it incorrectly!
I’m also going to continue with bad punctuation now. “It’s”should only be used when you are shortening the words “It is” and is supposed to be used as “It’s pouring rain outside,” not as “The dog lost it’s bone.”. Correction: “The dog lost its bone.” you are supposed to use “Its” in that case because the head belongs to the dog and “Its” is supposed to be used possessively. You have no idea how many times I have seen people mistake these two different words for each other.

Is it just me, or does anybody else feel like they’re starting over again? It’s probably just me. But I want to tell you why I’m feeling like this.

I’ve been through a lot of change recently. New house, new school, new friends(to make)-how am I not supposed to feel like I’m starting over? It feels like I’m moving to another country again like I did five years ago, but I’m not. Maybe there’s more to why I feel like I’m starting over-something different-that I don’t know. Maybe something changed about me and it caused me to feel different. Or maybe I’m just scared-scared about what’s going to happen next. This year is going to be different for me: every other one felt like the end of I chapter that was soon continued in the next page, but now it feels like I’m starting a whole new series.
To be honest making friends really was never easy for me, and maybe that’s why I feel like I’m starting over again. Every time I get the chance to start over where people don’t know me I try to seem different. I try to stand out. But it never works, because I’m not able to keep up with an act. People were able to see through the gothic, and intimidating people I tried to be and saw the one that’s not able to tell anyone anything orally but only through a laptop. Maybe this is why I feel like I’m starting over again.
Or maybe because I know something happened, or will happen. I know it’s there, but I just can’t put my finger on it.

I’m stuck at the airport because my flight was delayed by four hours, and I’m posting because I don’t really have anything else to do.
This isn’t the first time I was stuck at the airport for a long time, so I always have to entertain myself in some way, and that’s what I’m going to post about-finding stuff to do at the airport in case you’re flight’s been delayed.

Idea No.1
Go shopping. I know this sounds girly, and it probably is, but The airport has some cool stuff-and even if you don’t want to buy anything looking is okay.

Idea No.2
Bring stuff in advance. It’s always good to be prepared for situations like this, and that’s why I always bring my phone. Sure it may not be be the most entertaining thing, but it has games, and music(be sure to bring earplugs), so I’m okay for the next four hours.

I’m sorry for not being much use at the moment, but in my defense I’m in an uncomfortable chair, I’m writing this post with my phone, and I only had six hours of sleep last night.
